Researcher of the Month – October 2023

Borislavka Golović Kažić completed her specialist and master’s studies at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade-Serbia, majoring in Electronic Business. She is in the process of pre-doctoral studies at the same faculty.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor, Montenegro, majoring in Management, and immediately after completing her undergraduate studies in 2002/2003, she worked as a laboratory technician at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor, Montenegro. From 2004 to 2012 she worked as an assistant  in teaching at several faculties of the Mediterranean University – Podgorica in Montenegro on the subjects of application of Electronic business in education and economy.

Aside from active involvement in the researches of the IMTM ( Institute of modern technologies Montenegro ) she is  the founder and the owner of education and development center. She is the founder and owner of the educational development center INESKA in Kotor, Montenegro. From 2007 until today, through representation of internationally recognized programs for education and development, she advocates for the introduction and implementation of programs that encourage healthy psycho-motor development of children and young people, as well as the application of modern information technologies to improve cognitive development in children and adults.

She participated in numerous domestic and international conferences in the field of education and youth development, as well as in the creation and implementation of programs that contribute to the development of better professional orientation and improvement of knowledge and skills in the digital era.

She is currently engaged in Györ, Hungary, at the University of Economics and Business, where she joined a team researching the gap between the level of digitization in Europe and Southeast Asia. The research is based on evaluation on levels of digital development of European countries ( DESI ) as well as an analysis of links between economical performances and digital development. Whether the digitalization causes convergence i.e whether the digitalization will reduce or increase disparities / development gaps between the countries or the companies.
