Prof. Anetta Caplanova, Ph.D.

Prof. Anetta Caplanova, PhD. is the ODDEA project coordinator and participating researcher. She is an accomplished economist with expertise in behavioural economics, public finance and education systems. Dr. Caplanova has made significant contributions to the field of economics, with her research being published in several top-tier academic journals. Her publications have achieved international recognition. She has received various awards and honours for her work, which has focused on topics such as the determinants of foreign direct investment, the impact of democracy on well-being, measuring the size of the shadow economy, and the impact of personality traits and mindfulness on behaviour of individual investors. Beyond her research, Dr. Caplanova is also a dedicated educator and mentor. She has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has supervised numerous students.

She is experienced in project management, she prepared many proposals for funding of research, teaching and training activities. She has abundant international exposure in Europe, and globally with special focus on South-East Asian region. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Caplanova has served as a consultant for various government agencies and international organizations, providing expert advice in fiscal policy, education systems, social science research and other areas related to her expertise. Her contributions to the policy community have helped to shape fiscal policies in Slovakia.

Dr. Caplanova is a highly respected economist who has made significant contributions to the field. Her expertise, dedication, and passion for work continue to inspire and influence new generations of economists.

Tomasz Kusio, Ph.D.

Tomasz Kusio, Ph.D., Assistant Professor at the University of Economics in Krakow, Institute of Economics, Department of Economic Policy and Development Programming. His professional interests includes both research and executive activities. He is the author and co-author of more than 120 published and unpublished scientific research papers, including 7 scientific monographs. Research work is focused on the subject of entrepreneurship and innovation, both in institutional terms (entrepreneurial university) and in relation to the individual. Scientific and research activities are accompanied by project activities, in which Dr. Tomasz Kusio has been involved since 2004, taking an active part as project manager, team manager, member of the project implementation team, but also initiator of national and international projects. His research and didactical activities cover among others such topics as: management of the technology transfer, financial control, project auditing, monitoring and evaluation of the project as a risk minimization tool, financial planning for risk management, project budgeting, introduction to the analysis of projects, information in the risk management process, introduction to the Theory of Risk Management, Risk management, financial control and testing the usefulness of economic projects. Recently, his scientific and research interests have been focused on the development of entrepreneurship in rural areas, the development of startups, the importance of digitalization in regional development, including in the context of the development of Industry 4.0.

Dr. habil. Roland Z. Szabó, Ph.D.

Dr. habil. Roland Z. Szabó, Ph.D. is an ODDEA work package leader and participating researcher. He works in the fields of academia, business and consultancy. He is an Associate Professor at Széchenyi István University. He has 20+ years of business and leadership development experience from startups to global (multinational) firms. He is currently helping medium and large business-to-business firms and government agencies to succeed in digital transformation. He has received a Most Inspirational Paper Award and three international Best Paper Awards recently. He has published in highly ranked journals, such as Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Cities, Technology in Society, and International Journal of Production Research. His main areas of expertise are strategic and change management, business models, entrepreneurship, organizational ambidexterity, digital transformation and Industry 4.0. He is among the most cited researchers in digital transformation and Industry 4.0.

Prof.dr Ivana Ognjanović Ph.D

Associate Prof.dr Ivana Ognjanović completed her PhD in the field of software engineering at University of Belgrade, Serbia (co-supervised by Prof. Dragan Gašević, Canada Chair in semantic technologies). She was a Vice Dean for education at the Faculty of Information Technology, Mediterranean University (2010-2013). Her R&D experience is gained by working as research assistant at Athabasca University, Canada (July-December 2012) and participation in research projects led by Athabasca University and the University of British Columbia (2010-2011). Additionally, she was involved in the realization of tens of Erasmus+, COST Actions, TEMPUS projects; SEE-ERA.Net projects, projects at national level and many others. In the period March 2020-December 2022, she was a President of the Center of young scientists at Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts. Her activities are also focused on national level, since she is NCP ICT for HORIZON 2020, IDEALIST (since 2012), and a member of a team for creation of Montenegrin Roadmap for Research infrastructures (2014-2020) named by the Ministry of Science. In 2016, she was a representative of Montenegro at prestigious 2016 Young Transatlantic Innovation Leadership Initiative (Y-TILI) and GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT 2016. Since June 2020, she is a EFMI (European Federation for Medical Informatics) Board member as well as Young EFMI Working Group Chair.

Azlina Bt Hanif

Azlina Bt Hanif is a senior lecturer at Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School (AAGBS), Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia. She obtained a PhD in Economics from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa, Malaysia, a Master in Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. Currently she serves as the Coordinator of Corporate Communication and Internationalization at her faculty. She teaches Economics for Business Decisions and Managerial Business Analytics for MBA students at AAGBS. Her research interests are in the areas of International Trade, Digitalization and Economic Growth, Foreign Direct Investments, and Green Economy. She has obtained several national research grants from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia to conduct studies relating to exchange rate risks on imports, export readiness of SMEs, among others. She is the Management Board member of the ERASMUS-MSCA-SE project on Overcoming Digital Divide in European countries and South-East Asia and is also actively involved in consultancy work for several private organizations. She is also a certified professional marketer CPM – Asia.

Associate Professor Dr.Aweewan Panyagometh

Associate Professor Dr.Aweewan Panyagometh received a bachelor’s in environmental science from Mahidol University; Master of Science in Hazardous Waste Management from Chulalongkorn University; Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, USA and joint PhD in Engineering and Public Policy as well as Environmental Science and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Before joining the International College of NIDA, Dr. Aweewan was a full-time faculty member at the Department of Political Science of Ramkhamhaeng University. She is a member of the MASUDEM Management Board and a task manager from International college of National institute of development administration (ICO NIDA) in Thailand. Her expertises is in quantitative policy analysis, environmental policy, life-cycle assessment, and tourism and sustainability. She has been involved in many research projects both international and national funding; for example, ERASMUS+, Asian development bank, Thailand science research and innovation, and etc. She has been invested as a guest lecture in various universities e.g. Singidunum University, Serbia, Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci, France, Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (NGU), Germany, Beibu Gulf University, China, Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU), Chongqing, China, University of Innsbruck, Austria, RANEPA, Saint Petersburg, Russia, National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT), Taiwan, Southwest University (SWU), Chongqing, China

Dr. Majang Palupi, BBA., MBA

Dr. Majang Palupi, BBA., MBA has been recently assigned by the Rector as the leader of ODDEA Universitas Islam Indoneasia team. She is a full-time lecturer with a solid research background, industry experience, teaching portfolio and community works. Dr. Palupi has expertise in strategic human resource management, organizational behavior, and organizational justice. She has taught human resource-related courses at both undergraduate and master programs and had supervised numerous students for both levels. Dr. Palupi has published her research on her fields, and she also has published several books on Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) cases in Indonesia. She has also been a reviewer of several international journals indexed by Scopus. In addition to academic work, Dr. Majang Palupi has served as a consultant in the field of human resources for public and private companies in Indonesia. She has numerous community works and professional activities within the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region, such as the treasurer and member of the Education Council, deputy chairman of Wage Council, vice chairman for Training, Certification, and SMEs at the Indonesian Management Association, general secretary of Training and Education Department at Universitas Islam Indonesia's Gender Study Center, general secretary for Association of Indonesian Muslim Scholars, the secretary of Lions Club Yogyakarta Tugu Mataram. Dr. Majang Palupi also has been involved in other Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education (CBHE) projects such as ASEAN Network for Green Entrepreneurship and Leadership (ANGEL), Indonesian Higher Education Leadership (iHiLEAD) and Assessing and Improving Research Performance at South East Asian Universities (REPESEA).

Ivan Petrović

Ivan Petrović is Director at Private scientific research institution „Institute of modern technologies Montenegro“, and the member of ODDEA project managment board. His educational background is in the field of finance and economics. Mr Petrovic is highly experienced in coordinating and managing EU funded projects. Her expertise extends to financial managment and planning and risk managment. Since IMTM establishment, Mr Petrović implemented a lot of scientific projects in the field of digitalisation, medical informatics and applying ICT in tourism. Having professional background in managing cooperation with key stakeholders at national and WB regional level, he is bringing significant experience in creating tailored strategies for dissemination and communication of the project.

Dr. Rafal Kusa

Dr. Rafal Kusa is the ODDEA Management Board member, a work package leader and participating researcher. He is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Management of AGH University of Krakow, Poland. He received his PhD degree from the Faculty of Economics and International Relations at Krakow University of Economics. His research interests include entrepreneurship, strategic management, digitalization, non-profit-management, social entrepreneurship, and tourism management. He is the author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications. He has published papers in the in highly ranked journals, such as Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Innovation & Knowledge, Entrepreneurship & Regional Development, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, European Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, and others. He is a board member of local charter of the TNOiK – the oldest Polish scientific association focused on management. Beyond his research, Dr. Kusa is also a dedicated educator and mentor, both in academia and non-formal education.
