On 11th September 2024, Associate Professor Dr Anna Surowiec, from AGH Poland who is doing her one month research secondment at UiTM under work package 2 of the “Overcoming Digital Divide in Europe and South East Asia” project, had the opportunity to join a Qualitative Method Workshop hosted by the Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School of UiTM. The workshop was conducted by Professor Dr Rick Delbridge from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff, UK. The ‘Qualitative Guru’ led the session at the faculty’s collaborative room, attended by lecturers and students from the faculty and international scholars from Japan including Assoc. Prof Dr Anna herself from Poland. The diverse background of the participants made the session even more meaningful and interactive. The participants gained valuable insights into qualitative research techniques and how they can be applied to business and social science studies. Associate Prof. Dr Anna Surowiec thoroughly enjoyed the session and connected with the participants, sharing her own research experience too particularly pertaining to the ODDEA project.
