Tomasz Kusio PhD, professor from Krakow University of Economics spent one month at University Donja Gorica in Montenegro.
The purpose of the secondment was to conceptualize a study on the positive and negative impacts of Internet use among an age group entering the labor market
During the secondment period the issues of socio-economic background of Montenegro and Poland were discussed, in particular, the outline of the formation of the country’s history in the context of current events taking place in the world, including wars, pandemics. The next stage was the composition of comparative analysis of the development of the situation in the two countries, but also related it to other European countries, also taking into account current processes. As a result of the analysis, the revision of the original purpose of the study, also taking into account the issues of the need to examine the level of accessibility to the Internet, as well as the level of market saturation in terms of devices offering this access., the type of Internet activity, or the nature of the access modes to digital content. This enabled the initial formulation of a list of factors, the description of which would allow us to provide answers to the research questions, so as to fill the cognitive gap in terms of:
RQ1: What is the current availability and form of access to digital content in terms of devices and type of access?
RQ2: What is the structure of time spent on the Internet in terms of learning, entertainment and communication?
RQ3: What is the evaluation of digital against traditional content in the dimensions of accessibility, absorption, credibility and its creation?
