A RESEARCH SEMINAR BY A SECONDED EARLY STAGE RESEARCHER FROM UITM
On Monday, October 16, 2023, a research seminar on the topic “ „Assessing Digital Divide in e-Learning: An Insight from Malaysian State” took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava. The seminar was led by ODDEA researcher Siti Fadzillah Abdul Rahman from the partner institution Universiti Teknokogi MARA, Malaysia.
Siti Fadzillah Abdul Rahman from partner institution Universiti Teknokogi MARA, Malaysia, concluded her three-month mobility at University of Economics in Bratislava. During her mobility, she was dedicated to research activities aimed at bridging the digital divide in e-learning.
RESEARCH SEMINAR WITHIN THE ODDEA PROJECT
On Monday, November 27, 2023, a research seminar on the topic “Building Trust and Confidence in the Use of Banking Apps: A Study on Southeast Asia (SEA) and European Union (EU)” took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava. The seminar was led by ODDEA researcher Jewel Kumar Roy from the partner institution SIU, Hungary.
Jewel Kumar Roy will be concluding his month-long mobility at University of Economics in Bratislava in the coming days, which was carried out as part of the ODDEA project. Therefore, we would like to express our gratitude to him for presenting his intriguing research and wish him success in his future research endeavors.

Description: Professor Nataša Kovač from University of Donja Gorica (UDG), Montenegro visited ICO NIDA under the Overcoming Digital Divide in European and Southeast Asia (ODDEA) project in Oct 2023. She conducted research study on “A Cross-Country Study on Digitalization Trends in Montenegro and Thailand”.
UDG researcher, Ivan Piper, secondment at UII, Indonesia
Ivan Piper, from University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro, had a chance to spend three months at the Universitas Islam Indonesia, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Together with supervisors from UII, Ivan Piper has conducted a research about the state of digitalization in Montenegro and Indonesia.
Additionally, he was a participant in number of different activities organized by the UII, including community service, research, as well as several lectures and presentations about Digitalization, Culture and Economics that he delivered to the students of UII.
Presentation of research activity at the end of mobility at EUBA
On Monday, March 20, 2023, a research seminar (presentation of research activities carried out during mobility) was held by 𝐃𝐰𝐢 𝐀𝐧𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐢, 𝐒.𝐓., 𝐌.𝐄𝐧𝐠, a researcher from Universitas Islam Indonesia, finishing a two-month research mobility within the ODDEA project at the Department of Economic, Faculty of Economics and Finance, University of Economics in Bratislava. The topic of the seminar was „𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐚𝐩 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 “. At the end of the seminar, we said goodbye to her and wished her many successes in her research and publishing activities. We look forward to further cooperation even after returning to her home university!

On January 22, 2024, a research seminar took place at the University of Economics in Bratislava on the topic "The Effect of Spiritual Leadership on Individual and Team Outcomes of Consulting Teams in Bangkok." The seminar was led by Ms. Panisa Arthachinda from ICO NIDA, Thailand, who is currently on a three-month mobility at EUBA as part of the ODDEA project. Ms. Arthachinda presented her research findings on the impact of spiritual leadership on individual and team outcomes of consulting teams in Bangkok. The seminar provided valuable insights into the relationship between spiritual leadership and the results of team consulting. We appreciate the presentation of this interesting topic and wish Ms. Arthachinda much success in her future research endeavors!
